Do Computer Yoga

How are your muscles feeling right now? Take a little break. Do computer yoga. It's very easy, and you'll be relaxed in just a few minutes. Computer yoga will help to resolve the tension felt in your body. It will calm your mind through meditation and self-questioning. Computer yoga is the office worker's and writer's answer to remaining positive through the day; ideally, practicing computer yoga daily will help you to remain positive throughout your daily routine. courtesy:wikihow.com
Move your head and think the mantra "Om" in your head. Turn your head left and right. Forward and backward.

Move your shoulders, so that all tensions resolve. Find the way that works best for you. Move forward, and then move another way round. Move with your elbows and think "Om, Om, Om..." And another way round. Think "Om".

Move your spine to the right and left side. The head also. Think "Om , Om, Om... " in your spine.

Move your feet on the ground. Say "Om" in your belly, in your legs, in your feet and in the earth. Concentrate on the whole earth and think the mantra "Earth".

Massage your body from head to feet. Hold your hands together over your head, rub the palms, visualize the sky above you and say the mantra "Heaven". Feel the light that comes down. Massage the light into your face, your eyes, your ears, your whole body and think "Light, Light..." Fill yourself with light. Move your feet, fill light into the earth and think, "Light...".

Move your hand and send light to your loved ones and to all people. Say "I send light to... May all people be happy. May all the world be happy."

Rub your palms together. Think on the enlightened masters and say, "Om, all enlightened masters, please help me on my way." Now you can ask a question. Think about your life. What are your goals? What is your way? Hear the answer within you. Feel the answer inside. What is the answer?

Put your hands on your legs or your belly. Make your mind calm and think the mantra "Om" in your head, your thorax, your belly, your legs, feet, in the earth and in the whole cosmos. "Om Om Om Shanti Om Peace Om Peace Om Shanti Om Peace..."

Stop your thinking for one minute. Simply sit there. Don't think.

> What do you have to take in your life? Take it. ?
> What is your positive sentence now? What helps you to stay positive through your day and your life? For example, "My positive sentence is: I am optimistic. I follow my way with optimism."

Have fun..!

Cope with Life Altering Changes

If you are dealing with a major life change, whether it's a new job, a bad boss, a break up or divorce, being diagnosed with a disorder or disease, moving across country--you can cope! Here's how:

courtesy:wikihow.com

Keep in close contact with friends and family. If need be, clean the numbers of those "fair-weather" friends out of your cell phone. Only true friends will stick around and help you get through life altering changes, everyone else will just take up your valuable time or add more stress to your already crazy life. Talk with your close friends and family. You may be surprised of their wisdom.

Make quiet time for yourself. Taking the time to recharge your batteries will help you be better prepared in times of crisis. Listen to soft, relaxing music. Turn off the computer, TV and phone. Learn to meditate. Meditation helps clear the constant "chatter" in your head.

If you have been diagnosed with a disease or disorder such as depression or ADHD, learn as much as you can about it. It is helpful to find a doctor who specializes in that area who can prescribe you the right kinds of treatments. Look in to medications that could help you and take on a holistic approach to your condition. Look at the way you live your life, what kinds of habits have you formed? What could you do to change these habits or acquire healthier ones? This is rough at first, but will get easier as time passes.

Join an interest group or church. This can help you connect with people who share a similar interest and maybe provide a wider network of support. There are many churches that sponsor support groups for coping with life changes. You can also research support/interest groups on the internet.

Think positively. Live life one day at a time. Set small goals for yourself and reward yourself when you reach them. Sometimes looking too much at a long term goal can be overwhelming. Break up the larger goal into smaller goals.

Do something fun! This can take your mind off stressful events. Visit a friend you haven't seen in a long time. Go see that movie you've been dying to see. Take a trip to the zoo or go to a museum. Learn something new.

Learn how to say no. If you are already stretched thin, learn how to recognize this and assertively say no when someone asks you for another favor. You don't have to give them reasons why.

Volunteer. Helping those who are in worse situations than you can really put things into perspective. Help out at a local nursing home or hospital. Join a mentoring program. Help out a friend in need or a family member. Donate money to your favorite charity.

Find your own personal Higher Power. I'm not saying you have to go join a church or become a devout religious person. Picture a divine higher power that you can give your problems to and take over when you are worn out. You can't control every aspect of your life. This is impossible, so simply hand it to your personal Higher Power.

Increase Your Immunity Power

A weakened immune system leaves the body vulnerable to virtually every type of illness and disease, especially when there is a seasonal shift from cold winters to warm summers. Properly caring your immune system can boost its power to fight off those pesky viral diseases that bring you down.

Here are the top immune boosting tips to incorporate into your routine to help you stay healthy

Exercise regularly

Rather unsurprisingly for a sports fitness blog, I am going to recommend regular exercise as a great way to increase your immunity and overall health. Not only can exercise improve your immunity, but it can also reduce stress and make you feel much more positive about life in general. I’m sure that most of the readers here exercise regularly anyway so I won’t say much more on this one.

Reduce Stress

We all know that stress is bad and best avoided but most people don’t realize that it can have a negative effect on our immune systems. When we are stressed our body releases a variety of chemicals including cytokines, cortisol and adrenaline that affect our immune function and overall health. You should always try and find ways to eliminate as much stress as possible from your daily life if you want to improve your immunity and general wellbeing. Regular exercise is often one of the best ways to reduce stress.

Stay positive

As crazy as it sounds, your attitude and outlook on life can actually have a profound effect on your body’s immunity. Various studies have indicated that people who have a more positive attitude to life tend to live longer and have better immune functions than people who are pessimistic and easily stressed. Take some time to work though some well written positive thinking books and you will soon realize that the power of the mind is truly incredible.

Eat Well

Your diet will have a drastic effect on your body’s immune system and you should always think carefully about the food you eat. Make sure you eat a well balanced diet with plenty of vegetables, proteins and healthy fats.

Have Fun

Laughter is good for the body and soul. Try and have fun, laugh and get out there and enjoy life. Laughter will boost your immune system and make you feel great.

Zinc

Studies have shown that even a mild zinc deficiency can reduce your immunity. You can find zinc in red meat, nuts and chicken. If you do a lot of exercise then you might well be slightly deficient in zinc. You could try a zinc or ZMA supplement to boost your levels of zinc.

Vitamin D

Vitamin D is needed by the immune system but it can be hard to get from most foods. Vitamin D is commonly known as the sunshine vitamin because the body can synthesize it in the presence of sunlight. Taking a Vitamin D supplement could be a wise move for athletes.

Drink Green Tea

Green tea contains alkylamines which have been shown in studies to increase your body’s immunity to infections. There are many great health benefits that you can gain from green tea and it is a rich source of antioxidants. Try drinking 2 to 3 cups of green tea a day or alternatively you should be able to pick up a green tea supplement from most health shops.
